Signature Edition: Where Art and Surface Design Share the Same Language

In 2023, Interprint boldly crossed a frontier, merging art and design to create spaces that speak. Art is not just meant to be admired — it’s meant to be lived.

With the first Signature Edition, Interprint partnered with Brazilian artist Gustavo Dalinha to prove that art can inhabit every environment. This collaboration transformed artistic expression into surface design, turning creativity into tangible experiences for homes and commercial spaces.

A Common Gesture: Color on Paper

Interprint brings color to paper as the starting point for every decor design. Gustavo Dalinha does the same — but with a unique material: Antaimoro paper.

Originating from Madagascar, Antaimoro paper is handmade from natural fibers, traditionally used for sacred texts and artistic works. Its organic texture and artisanal process make it a canvas that carries history and authenticity. By applying color to this paper, Gustavo creates art that feels alive — and Interprint translates this essence into industrial design, preserving the soul of the original gesture.

From Workshop to Design: Matera & Lamin

The Signature Edition is the result of creative workshops where art met technique. Out of this process emerged two exclusive decors:

  • Matera – inspired by raw textures and mineral depth that reflect the tactile essence of the material.

  • Lamin – a surface that captures the fluidity of artistic elements and refines them into a contemporary aesthetic.

These decors are stories embedded in material, carrying the spirit of art into everyday life.

Why It Matters

When technique and sensitivity walk side by side, spaces cease to be mere places. They become environments with identity and emotion. The Signature Edition demonstrates how art can shape the future of interior design, adding cultural and aesthetic value to products.
