Reflecting on the Open House: A Celebration of Collaboration and Curiosity

Our Open House Exhibition marked a vibrant milestone in an ongoing journey of exchange, experimentation, and dialogue. Over the past weeks, our space transformed into a vibrant hub of exchange, experimentation, and dialogue. From curious visitors and inspiring project partners to spontaneous conversations and thoughtful reflections: every encounter added to the energy that made this event so special.

The exhibition became a living archive of the IP25 lab, showcasing not just results but processes — from recycled materials and collaborative prototypes to interactive elements that invited everyone to take part. Whether through a scribbled postcard in our question box or a moment of quiet attention: our Open House reminded us of the power of shared spaces and collective work.

One of the exhibition’s core elements was the row of project booths — individually curated spaces by our partners and guest contributors. These miniature studios offered glimpses into research, material experiments, and conceptual worlds. From mycelium to mineral pigments, every booth told its own story and created a moment of pause within the larger exhibition flow. A patchwork of perspectives, held together by a shared curiosity for surfaces, cycles, and design futures.

While Interprint inspired new ways of thinking, first product ideas based on this mindset were already on display. New flooring concepts, AI-generated designs, stunning gravure and digital prints from the BEYOND Edition, and technical innovations from TOPPAN offered a glimpse into what’s next.

We are incredibly grateful for the many hands and minds that shaped this event — and for everyone who showed up, got involved, and made it meaningful.
